The Gevelli Vineyards

Located in the stunning Alazani Valley, the Gevelli vineyards span 60 hectares of prime land for vine cultivation. This region, known as the “cradle of wine,” boasts a rich history of viticulture dating back to 6000 B.C. Situated in the esteemed Tsinandali microzone appellation, the vineyards rest on land called “Lionidzis Zvari,” named after Solomon Lionidze, an 18th-century chancellor. The grapes grown here are celebrated for their exceptional quality, making Gevelli a notable name in the local wine scene. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art winemaking and aging technology, blending modern techniques with traditional practices to set new benchmarks for Georgian wine on the international stage.
