Welcome to Ibero Winery

Located in the picturesque village of Vachnadziani, Ibero Winery sits in the heart of Kakheti, Georgia's renowned wine region. Nestled between the majestic Caucasian and Gombori mountain ranges, the winery is perched at an elevation of 700 meters above sea level, overlooking the beautiful Alazani River valley.

A Glimpse into Our History

Founded in 2002 by Shota Natroshvili, Ibero Winery began its journey with the planting of Georgian grape varietals from 2002 to 2005. Today, our vineyards flourish with indigenous grapes such as Khikhvi, Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, and Kisi. Since launching our wines in the local market in 2016, Ibero has gained recognition for its quality and craftsmanship within the region.

We didn't book the tasting in advance and arrived just like that, but! The hospitable owner of the estate, Shota, still gave us a quick tasting of his excellent wines and showed us the qvevri, for which we were very grateful to him. Shota speaks excellent Russian, if that's important. Very beautiful place and very cozy! The wine is also wonderful, as are its labels)

We loved visiting the Ibero family winery! We had the pleasure of touring the winery with their grandfather who is the coolest and loveliest guy ever. Thank you for your warm hospitality and delicious wine! You made us feel so welcome and like we were spending time with our own family. We will certainly be back next time we are in Georgia. We wish you all the very best.

A place with a lot of soul! We signed up the day before via WhatsApp for a tasting for two people. We were welcomed by the owner of the winery and his son. This is a family affair and even the grandchildren help with the wine production. Here you can try the amazing Qvevri wine, and we were also treated to chacha, port wine and a very tasty table was set. The owner of the winery talked about his life, the history of the winery, how they founded it and how they are developing it. It was very warm and emotional😍
