The Ivaldi Dario- The Winery region perfectly suitable for the Barbera grapes

The Ivaldi Dario wine farm is in the Nizza Monferrato, at the border with Castel Boglione. The region is hilly and perfectly suitable for the Barbera grape. The family business has been present since four generations, and the wines are still produced with the same traditions. Tradition is combined with modern technology for the best winemaking. Andrea Ivaldi, the youngest member of the family, welcomes guests to the winery for a lovely tour and wine tasting.

The Vineyards present in the UNESCO World Heritage Site

The vineyards are present in Nizza Monferrato that is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The terrain here blends perfectly with the microclimate and helps to make wines with finesse. Vines cover 12 hectares of land and get great exposure to the sun. Apart from Barbera, Freisa, Chardonnay, Favorita, and Moscato d’Asti grapes are also grown. The grapes are handpicked and used to make their red, white, sparkling, and dessert wines.

Winery with a touch of Tradition and Culture

The Ivaldi wines have a touch of tradition and culture in them. After the vineyards, a lot of care is taken of the wines in concrete tanks. Just like their grandfather used to, the wines are aged in French oak barrels. The wood helps in making the wines soft without changing the aroma and natural flavor of the wines.
