Georgian Qvevri Wines

At KTW Patardzeuli, the art of winemaking is deeply rooted in tradition, particularly through the use of Qvevri. This ancient clay vessel, buried underground, provides an ideal environment for aging and storing wine. Its unique shape allows grape skins, stalks, and seeds to settle at the bottom, while the liquid remains above, enhancing the wine's quality. This time-honored technique, which dates back over 8,000 years, is employed in the majority of KTW's wines.
