In the 1960s, his son expanded the vineyard by acquiring additional land and planting new grape varieties. Today, the winery is managed by one of Pietro's granddaughters and her husband, who continue the family legacy.
Lusenti Vini represents a harmonious blend of tradition and modern winemaking practices. While the estate may not be large, it is dedicated to producing high-quality wines from its own grapes. The vineyards are home to a diverse range of grape varieties, including Pinot Nero, Malvasia, Bonarda, Barbera, and Ortrugo, each contributing to the winery's unique offerings.
Since 2010, Lusenti Vini has been certified organic, reflecting their commitment to sustainable farming practices. The winery produces artisanal wines that honor the land and the rich winemaking tradition of the region. Among their offerings, two dessert wines have gained notable recognition, consistently earning awards in various wine guides. This was probably one of the friendliest wineries on our trip to Augusta. Martina, the young owner who competes with her mother in creating fine wines, is so hospitable that we decided to visit them again after three months. In reality, the wines are of excellent quality, great variety, and a wide range of tastes. The pearl was the sparkling 2006 vintage, which is so lively, powerful and memorable that it is worth returning more than once.

Ive done several wine tours in Italy, this was by far the best. Marti is extremely knowledgeable and passionate and she gives you the opportunity to try the wine at different stages in its fermentation process to truly experience the product's evolution. An amazing afternoon, thank you!!

My dad has been buying wine from Lusenti since I was a child and now it is a fixed stop for me and my friends. Every year we find ourselves tasting their excellent wine and enjoying the splendid panorama surrounded by the vineyards. Martina and Susanna are extremely knowledgeable and have a kindness that sets them apart. For us Lusenti is home!!
