Mulleri- Family Winery located in the island of Sardinia
The Mulleri winery is engrained in the roots of the family who own the estate and draws much of its success from the past and the natural resources provided by the island of Sardinia. Sardinia is described as the land of the Carignano and Vermentino grapes, which are harvested in the Mulleri vineyards and expertly worked with tradition and passion. The family believes that the success of the winery and the excellent quality of the wine produced is a result of the connection between the grapes, the wine, the territory, the culture and the local traditions.
Visit the Magical Place- Sardinia
Sardinia is considered by many to be a small corner of paradise and the locals believe that the wines are infused with the area’s myths and magic, making them sweet, soft, warm and fragrant. At Mulleri the old vines of around 75 years are planted on sandy soil. The wine is vinified in steel and then aged in barriques. The wine that is produced has a very deep ruby red colour with notes of cherries and a spicy finish with elegant tannins. The wine can be described as supple and velvety and can be paired with either meat or fish.
Winery incorporating Art and Music nto its Wine making processes
The names of the wines produced at Mulleri have been chosen to remember and commemorate the literature Nobel Prize winner Grazia Deledda who had a significant influence on Sardinian culture.
The Mulleri winery has become famous for incorporating art and music into its wine making processes.
The cases of magnum bottles of Cenere are hand painted by the Sardinian artist Franco Nonnis using colors and themes that express the local territory where the vines are born and grow.
