Vigneti Zannata- Young Winery established in 2003
Vigneti Zannata is a young winery that was started in 2003 by combining two lands for wine production in Sardinia and Veneto. Bruno Zanatta began the story in 1975, and he achieved complete knowledge of the Sardinian soil and terroir. In 2005, Zanatta was expanded by acquiring a 100 acres sea-level terrain, situated in the Gallura region of Sardinia.
Wines with Unqiue Aroma and Spicy Taste
The local grapes from this area are used to make their Vermentino di Gallura DOCG and Cannonau di Sardegna DOC wines. These wines can be recognized by their unique aroma and spicy taste. In 2008, when the construction of the winery was completed, Bruno’s aim was complete too. With his immense experience and dedication, he set up a winery by uniting two distant lands.
Visit the Winery for Warm Welcome and Tour around the Cellar
The Gallura region of Sardinia is known for granite rocks that got its shape through the sea, wind, and rain. Most of the region here is barren and fertile, but the northern area is extensively covered with vineyards. The terroir here has sandy soil, which is quite dry and contains many organic matters. These natural features give their wines a distinct aroma and a spicy taste. Their unique red, white, rose and sparkling wines are made using the local Vermentino and Cannonau grapes that grow in the Gallura. Wine lovers and guests are always welcome at their wine cellar, and the staff happily tells them about their history, traditions, and terroir.
It is the perfect place to visit if you want to experience charming hospitality and taste some unique wines of the Sardinia region.
