Founded in 2008 by Andrea, La Neula is a family-run winery located in Telti, Sardinia. Andrea, originally from Milan, returned to his family's land to revitalize it and share the rich traditions of Gallura with both Italian and international visitors. The name "Neula" is inspired by the majestic mountains that rise above the fields, where olive trees flourish and vineyards stretch into the distance.
Terroir of Gallura
La Neula is situated in the picturesque Gallura region, at an elevation of 350 meters. The winery offers breathtaking views of Tavolara and Molara islands, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. The proximity to the sea enriches the vineyards, giving the Vermentino of Gallura its distinctive minerality, complemented by the region's clay and granite soils. This area is renowned for producing high-quality Vermentino and Cannonau, with Vermentino holding the prestigious DOCG status. In addition to wine, La Neula also crafts extra virgin olive oil, honey, and Myrtle liqueur using traditional family recipes.
