Crafting 40,000 Bottles of Unique Sardinian Wines
Distinct Wines of Li Duni Winery
Li Duni Winery is nestled in the picturesque commune of Badesi, Sardinia, where gentle winds and warm sunshine nurture its vineyards. The estate is renowned for cultivating indigenous grape varieties that have thrived in the Sardinian wine region for generations, resulting in wines with unique and exceptional flavors.
Rich Winemaking Heritage
Founded in 2003, Li Duni Winery honors centuries-old winemaking traditions while embracing modern techniques. The winery aims to preserve the connection between ancient viticulture practices and contemporary oenological knowledge. After the devastation of Phylloxera in the late 1800s, the region's vineyards slowly recovered, and today, the estate produces around 40,000 bottles of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines, all proudly bearing DOCG, DOC, and IGT designations.
Commitment to Quality
Spanning 20 hectares, the estate cultivates a diverse range of high-quality grapes, including Vermentino, Cannonau, Bovale Sardo, and Caricagiola. These ungrafted vines (Piedefranco) yield approximately 650 hectoliters of juice each year. The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure that only the finest berries are selected for vinification in the cellar.
Modern Facilities and Scenic Views
Li Duni's wine cellar, located near the main building, features a blend of modern and traditional winemaking equipment. Inside, barrels and barriques are neatly arranged, providing an ideal environment for aging and refining their exquisite wines. The winery is not only a place for wine production but also a hub of knowledge for visitors interested in the art of winemaking.
