Distinct Wines of Li Duni Winery
Enjoying the gentle winds and bursts of the Sun, Li Duni Winery is located in the magnificent Italian commune, Badesi, with its vineyards dominating the hills of Gallura and Gulf of Asinara. The estate takes pride in cultivating autochthonous grapes, present in the Sardinia wine region for many years, to produce wines with distinct and rare organoleptic features.
Tradition Linked to 1800
Boasting the centuries-old winemaking traditions, Li Duni Winery was established in 2003. The goal is to keep the link alive between ancient viticulture traditions and oenological heritage. Although Phylloxera brought a full-stop to all vine cultivation and viticulture practices in 1868, at the end of the 1800s, the disease slowly vanished. Today, the estate delivers 40,000 bottles of wines, including delicious red, white, rose, and sparkling wines, all made with DOCG, DOC, and IGT labels.
Guarantee in Quality
The estate is stretched over 20 hectares, where the production staff cultivates a vast array of grapes. It includes top-quality Vermentino, Cannonau, Bovale Sardo, and Caricagiola. These ungrafted vines (Piedefranco) deliver around 600-700 hectoliters of juice annually. These grapes are manually harvested to allow the rigorous vinification of the best-selected berries in the cellar.
Overlooking the scenic beauty, the wine cellar of Li Duni is situated near the main building, equipped with various modern and conventional wine production facilities. It consists of barrels and barriques, beautifully lined up inside the cellar door, where winemakers store their exquisite wines for maturation and refining. It is a worth-visiting place and hub of knowledge for guests.
