A Rich Heritage of Winemaking

Located in the picturesque Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Musée Du Vin – Maison Brotte is a remarkable wine museum that celebrates the art of winemaking. Established in 1931, this family-owned winery has a rich history spanning over 90 years and five generations. Maison Brotte is recognized as a pioneer in the Rhône Valley, dedicated to producing high-quality, elegant wines that reflect the region's unique terroir.

A Treasure Trove for Wine Enthusiasts

Founded by Jeanne Brotte in 1972, the museum pays tribute to the wine producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the broader Rhône Valley. Visitors can admire an impressive collection of historical winemaking tools, including Foudres (tuns), presses, and a stunning grape treading device, some dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries. The museum features five distinct spaces, each designed to showcase different stages of the winemaking process, from grape cultivation to bottling.

A Commitment to Quality and Tradition

The skilled vintners at Maison Brotte are dedicated to producing exceptional wines using eco-friendly practices that honor the land. Guided by the legacy of their ancestors, the family oversees every aspect of the winemaking process to ensure the highest quality. The museum offers a curated selection of outstanding vintages, including rare old bottles and large formats, catering to the tastes of wine lovers and collectors alike.

Opt for a guided tour by audio which covers the history of wine and famous wines. Now it is legal, as it is more interesting to a person considering the history and specific hours. Ainda assim, it's worth a visit! These wines are wonderful! No final, we can taste some of the main dishes.
