5 stars is not enough to express my groups satisfaction with our wine tasting experience here. Our tour guide maggi was informative, hilarious and just a general pleasure to be around! She set the tone for my groups excursion to the south of spain and left a smile on our face for the duration of the day. The experience comes with an informative lesson on the history, culture, and creation of wine in manilva and finishes off with a taste experience by a gorgeous ocean front with a selection of 4 wines and tasting platters. Will definitely recommend to everyone looking for something to do!

100% recommended experience. Maggie (who explained and taught us the wine process) is a person who loves her job and conveys it perfectly. All questions were clarified and her kindness and dedication made the experience spectacular. We bought two bottles of wine to enjoy at home. I would repeat the experience again.

Very good experience! Magali shares her passion for wine and this region in a very pleasant and informative way. The tour begins in the museum to learn about the history of wine in Manilva and continues with a tasting in the vineyard overlooking the sea. A tasting of simple and tasty local products makes this experience authentic and enriching. This vineyard with old vines and artisanal but rigorous production impressed us compared to the industrial productions we had already visited.

We booked the tour for 30 euros per person through getyourguide. This company is run by 2 people. Magali gave the expert explanation then we went to the vineyard where we tasted 4 wines with some tapas. A must in Manilva!

Very good value for your Money! The guide Maggi is very enthusiastic and energetic overall just lovely to be around! Its a great opportunity to learn about the wine culture and support a very good course as they live to keep this very culture alive! The warmest recomendations! A wine museum that shows an ancestral tradition that should never be lost. A vineyard on a hill with the blue sea at its feet. Humidity, soil, time... essential ingredients to achieve an exceptional wine. Add to this the friendliness and enthusiasm of the fantastic guide Magali to please the visitor who will never be disappointed. We just have to keep going like this because when you believe in a dream and put all your passion and heart into it, it is only a matter of time before we can savour it like a good wine. It is a very small, family-run winery, without great pretensions but with very interesting wines. Magali (or Magui), a French woman, shows us around the museum, which is owned by the town hall, with simple explanations and with genuine passion and affection for her work. Once in the vineyard, we taste three wonderful wines accompanied by cheese, ham and chocolate. A very good experience.

We had a wonderful museum visit, bodega tour and tasting experience with Nilva Enoturismo. Our tour guide was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, entertaining and lead us through a great tasting session of 3 Manilva wines. The experience starts in the museum and moves to the vineyard for the tasting. The location for the wine tasting is absolutely stunning! The site is at a small finca with panoramic views up and down the coast. Included in the tasting and visit are delicious plates of nibbles. I cannot recommend the Nilva tour and tasting more highly! This was a great experience overall in one of the smallest DOs in Spain!

Interesting guided tour of the Nilva winery, which produces in the sub-zone called Manilva DO, one of the 5 in Andalusia. The other 4 are: Serrania de Ronda, Antequera, Axarquía and of course Malaga. Manilva has about thirty hectares all planted with Muscat of Alexandria. Three producers for the entire DO plus a few farmers who produce for themselves. Nilva has about two hectares in the most beautiful sea view positions there are, which is why their land is sought after by several home builders, but collaborates with locals for another 7 hectares. These vineyards are the southernmost in Spain. Production is very limited with an average of 5000 liters (4000 in 2023). 3 labels: Conventional dry Muscat Organic dry Muscat. Muscat passito. Excellent wines, especially the BIO fermented with indigenous yeasts. The two-hour visit was perfectly organized thanks to the French-born guide Mariana, a talented professional and very passionate about her job.

This was a fantastic tour, fun and informative. Tasting the wine surrounded by the vineyard, sea and mountains was a beautiful experience. Highly recommend and the wine is lovely.

Our trip to Nilva Winery was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to southern Spain. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The museum was so educational and set up the wine tasting perfectly. The vineyard had the most breathtaking views. The wine was truly fantastic and unique as well - they know what they’re doing! Finally, major kudos to Maggie. She was an exceptional guide and did everything she could to make the tour even more special. Major thanks to the winery and Maggie for such an incredible time!!

Family business with a very nice project, they intend to recover and save the centuries-old vines of Muscat of Alexandria grapes. They make artisanal and organic wines of the highest quality. You can visit their vineyards and museum. Algimiro, who is the owner, informs you of everything related to the cultivation and production of wine, he is passionate and very kind.
