We booked a tour of the winery with a tasting of four of their wines and everyone left delighted. We were a group of five, three of whom were from outside the province of Cádiz, so the experience at the winery was even better, as Vicente (our guide) made the tour and explanations enjoyable, fun, and easy to understand. We had a wonderful time and took home some of their wines, which were spectacular. I highly recommend this winery, the tour, and their wines. We will definitely come back again.

A visit to Bodega Manuel Aragón in Chiclana is a fantastic experience for any wine lover. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and professional while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The tasting was a true delight – the wines are of exceptional quality, full of character and local tradition. An interesting aspect of the visit is the winery’s collaboration with the University of Cádiz on research into phylloxera and grape varieties that could adapt to climate change in the region. Definitely a place worth visiting!

An unrivalled experience. We did the Premium tour guided by Vicente. Thanks to him we learned everything about fortified wines and we tasted them from the cask (some of them up to 90 years old!). I recommend it 100%, both for the quality of the tour and the wines themselves.

A wonderful experience!! The guide explained everything in detail, from the soil to the importance of the veil of flor. The casks, their brands to distinguish the amontillado from the oloroso, palo cortao, Pedro Jiménez and the delicious vermouth. All full of different aromas, flavours and a unique saline environment. We came to this winery on the recommendation of some relatives who live in the area and we were delighted. The service was exceptional and both the wineries and the vineyards show special care in the production of their wines. In the winery itself there is a charming garden with tables and chairs, perfect for enjoying a delicious selection of tapas while tasting their wines and vermouths. It is essential to try their vermouth and their muscatel, both truly outstanding. Highly recommended to visit if you are in the area.

While on holiday in Chiclana, we could not miss the opportunity to visit this beautiful family winery. We had previously made a reservation and paid for it on their website. The visit lasts approximately an hour and a half or a little more. María Luisa was with us. We could not have had a better guide, friendly, approachable and transmitting her passion for the world of wine every second. To start off, as an introduction, they had the detail of offering us each a glass of wine. We took a tour of the vineyard, seeing the characteristics of the soils, varieties, care, etc., then through the different storage areas. The production process is long and expensive, which gave us an idea of the importance and rigor with which they work to obtain excellent quality sherry wines. At the end, we did a tasting of 4 wines that we really liked: Fino Granero, Cream Arrumbao, Moscatel Gloria and their own Vermouth. There were several families with us. In our case, we were the only ones who took our teenage son, who, although he did not try the wines, did get another drink. Our son was fascinated by the world of wine. When you leave, you can buy wines in a shop. There is a wide range of wines on offer in terms of prices, and they are all of great quality, so it is worth taking some of them home or as a gift. We took a box of three wines, including the vermouth, so we could continue enjoying these delicious wines in Madrid.

Very good wines and affordable

A beautiful winery with a great family tradition behind it and very close to Cadiz and especially to Chiclana de la Frontera and to this very peculiar and special area for wines that makes up the Marco de Jerez, which has cost them so much to become a full part of. The winery is still today in the hands of the Aragón family, where Sebastián Aragón and his brother are now the 5th Generation. I really loved this visit, very well led by JAVIER whom I thank for his attention, his teachings and the good explanations he gave us throughout the tour; from the way of planting the vines (from east to west), to the care of the vines, organic farming, the preparation of fertilizers, pruning, harvesting, selection, winemaking, bottling and even the best way to taste them. A real learning experience. The visit takes place at CAMPANO, the winery located on the edge of the Cádiz-Málaga highway, right at Kilometer 12.200; but it is also worth visiting their other winery SANATORIO in the centre of Chiclana, Calle Olivo 1, and enjoying some great wines, tapas and good company. The tasting was wonderful, also led by Javier, where we were able to enjoy several of the great wines (as well as some wonderful surprises) that are made here at Bodegas Manuel Aragón in Chiclana de la Frontera. A MAGNIFICENT VISIT!! And a winery that we must return to, for sure. Although I was not there this time, as I was travelling outside of Andalusia, I would also like to thank Mª LUISA for the wonderful attention she gave me over the phone and which encouraged me even more to stop by this beautiful winery and enjoy the visit and some wines that I (until now) knew very little about.

Very nice bodega and very informative tour. The winetasting was great, on the terrace in the shade. We had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed the visit and the wines are exceptional. Javier is amazing at explaining everything about the vineyard, the winery and the wines. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. We recommend the visit and the tasting.

The best Sherry Bodega we visited in Andalusia! The premium tour is highly recommended. The Fino, along with a 30-year-old Amontillado, a 50-year-old Palo Cortado and PX, and even a 90-year-old Oloroso, tasted delicious. Furthermore, they explained the production process of the different Sherrys to us very kindly and in detail. Highly recommended!

We were there for our meeting of the Vecinos from Las Maravillas. It is very beautiful and interesting. Has fine wines and sherries. Fine tapas with flamenco music. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.

I am sorry I do not speak Spanish, cause the lady that was talking about the Bodega (Maria Luisa Villareal) was very professional, she gave us a lot of interesting information. My wife could translate for me some of it and together with the English tour that you can read or listen to was a good start. We liked a lot the Sauvignon Blanc "Bastille de la Barossa" and the Chiclanero Fino, now we hope we can order some to Austria:). We recommend this experience, we had the pleasure to be with a very nice group, and had an interesting conversation with them while tasting the wine at the end of the tour.

Great and interesting tour in Spanish, but with a German audio guide. The tasting afterwards was also very tasty and is highly recommended. We'll be happy to come back!
