Rich Winemaking Heritage

Bodegas Páez Morilla, located in Cadiz, Spain, has a storied history that dates back to 1910. Founded by Don Francisco Páez Sánchez, the winery initially focused on producing quality wines under the Sociedad Recreativa de Vinos Los Palitos. In 1945, his son, Don Antonio Páez Lobato, took the reins and introduced a unique twist by starting the production of Sherry Vinegar.

From Vine to Bottle

The small Los Palitos hearth marked the beginning of Bodegas Páez Morilla's success in sherry vinegar production. As the business flourished, the acquisition of the La Vicaría vineyard opened new doors for experimentation with local wines. In 1981, the winery launched Tierra Blanca, a refreshing Andalusian white wine, followed by the semi-sweet Tierra Blanca Semidulce. The first red wine, Vina Lucia, was introduced in 1977, showcasing the winery's commitment to quality.

Every year, Bodegas Páez Morilla sells out its entire wine production. Recently, the winery expanded its offerings with the Dona Pepa product line, featuring five balsamic sauces perfect for enhancing culinary creations.

A Diverse Selection of Wines

Wine enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of offerings from Bodegas Páez Morilla, including Tierra Blanca white, Tierra Blanca Semi white, Blue Bottle Semi Sweet wine, White Wine Risa Frizzante, Vina Lucia red wine, Arrulo Stars sweet red wine, and Vinadero red wine. Each wine provides a unique tasting experience, appealing to all wine lovers and travelers seeking authentic Andalusian flavors.

I attended a guided tour without expectations and found myself with some great professionals and a beautiful location, ideal for relaxing and having a good time in good company. It included a tasting of various wines and sherry vinegars. At a fairly good price both the visit and the bottle of wine we bought. Free parking inside the winery

Great visit here. The photography exhibition is a bonus, and the guy running the tours (Manu) is as welcoming as he is knowledgeable.

We went on the visiting days of the grape harvest festivals and we had a really good time. Family winery from the well-known and exquisite Tierra Blanca, where Esperanza, Luís and Violeta took us on a journey to the origins of their winery, their products, their work and their dedication. The process of making sherry vinegar and vinification of barrels is super interesting. We enjoyed the beautiful terrace with the tasting of lesser-known products such as the Frizzante range, very good and refreshing, and we also brought a red wine that I'm sure will not disappoint me because it has so much affection and love in it that the result can only be good. Do not hesitate to do wine tourism in our land and taste our gold from the Albariza land. A hug from your lovers of wine and our land, Laura and Javier🍇🥂🍷

This winery and its products have been a great discovery, we took a guided tour of the factory with Luís who explained the origin of Páez Morilla to us and we loved it. The collection of wine bottle labels and the wine glass afterwards was great! Without a doubt, the store will be a mandatory stop every time we come to Jerez. Their sweet red wine is spectacular and what can we say about the vinegars.
