Located in the cool, high-altitude Orange region of New South Wales, Printhie Wines is a celebrated 5-star Halliday winery owned by the Swift family. As a proud member of the Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia Group, Printhie is renowned for its SWIFT sparkling collection, often hailed as one of the finest in Australia. The winery's story began in 1996 with the planting of its first vineyard, followed by the establishment of the winery in 2004, which has since produced award-winning wines.

Printhie Vineyards

Printhie Wines boasts four distinct vineyard plots, each carefully selected to suit various grape varietals and ensure the production of high-quality fruit. The Printhie and Phalaris vineyards are planted with Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Gris, situated on elevated rolling hills that face northeast. Meanwhile, the Millwood and Wattleview vineyards, located at approximately 1000 meters above sea level, are celebrated for their exceptional Chardonnays, showcasing the unique terroir of the Orange region.

Award-Winning Sparkling Wine

The SWIFT brand represents traditional method sparkling wines crafted from the highest vineyards in New South Wales. This collection has garnered international acclaim, including the title of Best Australian Sparkling at the 2022 London Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships. Each bottle of SWIFT Sparkling is meticulously aged for a minimum of five years, with some resting on lees for up to ten years. Printhie's commitment to quality has earned it over 100 awards and numerous trophies, solidifying its reputation in the world of fine wines.

A beautiful cellar door to visit. Delicious wines, beautiful views, friendly staff, and a truely wonderful restaurant .. what more could you ask for. The detail in the design of this cellar door is exquisite with superb design thought down to the last details. A must visit if you are in town!

What better way to wrap up Easter Sunday than wine 🍷 tasting at Printhie especially when your host is the winemaker himself. An afternoon with old and new friends and a very patient staff who waiting for us to work our way through their enviable, extensive selection. No wonder they receive rave reviews. Thank you 🙏 to everyone for making our visit particularly memorable. Love to come back another time for lunch when next in town.

Booked a table at the wine bar. Had freshly chucked oyster and cheese platter with a glass of sparkling. Great atmosphere and very warm- welcoming staff. We had a great time here.

What a fabulous day spent at Printhie Wines. We booked the Wine Bar Table and was seated outside on a gorgeous, sunny day. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We ordered 1/2 dozen of the special oysters ($39) and a lovely cheese platter ($50) and a beautiful bottle of their Rose. Amazing view and such a wonderful day!! Will be back to try their restaurant onsite. Highly recommend.

Had such a fab afternoon here doing wine tasting. Kylie who looked after us was an absolute superstar. She was so attentive and friendly, and asked about our preference and made sure we got what we wanted. The venue is also stunning. Very modern and intimate. There is also an outdoor seating area which overlooks the vineyard. Our group was beyond impressed.
