With origins dating back to 1346, Quinta da Atela, in Alpiarça, is one of the oldest and most prestigious properties in the Tagus region. Set in a unique natural setting, it covers 600 hectares, 150 of which are dedicated to vineyards, where excellent national and international grape varieties are cultivated.

Since 2017, under the vision of businesspeople Anabela Tereso and Fernando Vicente, from Valgrupo, the farm has been experiencing a new era, marked by the restoration of its heritage, modernization of the wineries and the creation of high-quality wines, such as the single-varietal Casa da Atela and the Aguardente Vínica Velhíssima Capela da Atela .

The property is also part of the historic Carvalhita vineyard, over 75 years old, and part of the Paul da Gouxa Nature Reserve , reinforcing the commitment to sustainability and the territory.

Distinguished in 2022 as “Best Wine Tourism in the Tagus” , Quinta da Atela offers unique experiences that combine wine, nature and hospitality.

Great experience at this newly restored farm/vineyard. We did a buggy tour, which kids very much enjoyed and some wine tasting after for adults. Our guide Tiago was very passionate about the project. Highly recommended for families.

This is the ideal idea that exists in this space.

A tour of the winery with explanations of their wines and grape varieties, a beautiful event room, excellent catering service, an excellent location for a family gathering, as was provided to us, the Checkstar Magneti Marelli family. Congratulations to Bomboleo.
