Quinta Vale do Armo is a contemporary wine estate situated along the Tejo River, approximately 100 kilometers northeast of Lisbon. As part of the Lindeborg Wines group, this winery is managed by a dedicated team passionate about winemaking.

Quinta Vale do Armo: A Gem in the Tejo Wine Region

Spanning around 90 hectares, the vineyards of Quinta Vale do Armo are nestled in the Tejo Wine Region, bordering the Beira and Alentejo regions. This unique location enhances the character of their grapes, resulting in distinctive wines. The estate cultivates a diverse range of grape varieties, including Síria, Arinto, Verdelho, Viosinho, Alvarinho, Antão Vaz, Sauvignon Blanc, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Aragonês, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, Syrah, and Merlot.

Climate and Winemaking Philosophy

The vineyards benefit from a temperate climate at altitudes between 150 to 250 meters above sea level, complemented by clay-limestone soil ideal for grape cultivation.
The warm, sunny climate from the riverbanks to the hilly northern landscape of the Tejo River contributes to the fruity and smooth character of the wines.
Quinta Vale do Armo's philosophy focuses on a blend of modern technology and traditional practices while respecting the terroir. This commitment results in exceptional wines that reflect the unique qualities of the region.

The rosé is excellent, highly recommended. My wife and I were delighted. The 2023 in particular is super light and unfortunately also very drinkable.

My partner and I recently attended a tasting here, and it was an unforgettable experience. I opted for the regular wine tasting, while my partner, who isn't a fan of wine, chose the non-alcoholic option. From the moment we arrived, our guide Dylan welcomed us warmly and immediately drew us into the world of winemaking. This was perfect for us, as my partner is fascinated by the mechanical aspects of the process, while I’m more about savoring the wine itself. Dylan did an incredible job engaging both of us. My partner particularly appreciated the opportunity to explore the "engineering" side of winemaking, which is usually overlooked in traditional tours. For me, it was a delight to deepen my understanding and appreciation of wine. After the tour, we enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board featuring local products. The snacks were fantastic, and the vineyard’s grounds were absolutely stunning. A special thanks to Dylan for making this experience so memorable for both an amateur wine enjoyer like myself and a mechanical buff who stuck with the tasty orange juice! This experience was easily a 10/10, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether you’re a wine lover or just curious about the winemaking process.

Excellent wine tasting. Dylan's friendliness and dedication, who accompanied us, left us enchanted and wanting to come back, and also to spread the word. Try it and you will find the same, having a better and more enjoyable experience and knowledge of a drink that satisfies everyone. Thank you. Good luck. Excellent

Amazing winery! Spectacular wine tasting and tour. We could never have expected such over the top experience. Dylan gave us a prize winning over-view of the winery, he is knowledgeable, answered all our questions and had us try several of the many fantastic organic wines produced by this interesting group of wineries. We almost adopted him into our family, we were so comfortable. He went over and beyond to share his passion of this special winery and also olive oil producing estate! We totally recommend reserving a wine tasting, prova de vinho at this estate!! Portuguese hospitality at its best!! Bravo!!
