A must visit! Diogo hosted me and my husband for a wine tasting with lunch, and everything was fabulous — especially his company!! We talked for a few hours about love, marriage, travel, tradition and family, all while tasting some delicious wine. Don’t miss the Chardonnay Fernão Pires white — it was my favourite!

Diogo showed myself, husband, son and girlfriend around the vineyards and wine making facilities. The tour was fantastic and the knowledge surrounding the processes was unbelievable. After we d seen the cellars which were very impressive, we sat down for the grand finale! Diogo gave us 4 wines and matched these with extremely tasty foods including meat and cheeses. Diogo chatted to us, in perfect English thankfully, all the way through the afternoon with all subjects including huge plans for the Quinta, his daily life to politics in Portugal and the uk!! Altogether an extremely enjoyable afternoon, having learnt about and drank some wonderful wines. Highly recommended.

Wonderful tour! Very knowledgeable guide. Diogo is very personable and willing to answer all of our questions on how they make wine. He selected very tasty wines for us to sample and went out of his way to supply food for our lunch to accommodate our preferences. The wine, food and food presentation for our picnic lunch were amazing. The vineyard and grounds are very inviting for an afternoon of fun and relaxation
