Feudo Ramaddini – A Home of High-Quality Organic Wines
Surrounded by the green countryside of Pachino, Feudo Ramaddini Winery lies in the heart of the Noto wine region. The estate has its own wine shop in Magazzini del Vino, industrial archeology linked to the Marquis of Rudin’s medieval millstone. In 2018, Feudo Ramaddini got the bio certification on its renowned DOC Sicily, DOC Noto, and IGT labels.
A Winery Immersed in Art, Culture, and Ancient Winemaking Practices
In 2003, two entrepreneurs, Carlo Scollo and Francesco Ristuccia bought 20-hectare farming land in the heart of Val di Noto, marking the commencement of Feudo Ramaddini. With great passion and boasting the ancient Greek winemaking history, the duo began growing native grapes. After five years of hard work, in 2008, they introduced their first bottling line of the Noto DOC label. Later in 2010, when their winemaking business was on the wave’s crest, they purchased Ancient Wine Warehouses and made it the headquarters. In 2014, the owners introduced a new winery logo and label.
Between Marzamemi & Pachino – The Land of Fresh Terroirs
Respecting the Mother Nature and beautiful surrounding, the vines are grown in the Noto Plateau towards the Marzamemi Sea. Carlo replanted the centuries-old vineyards with the traditional sapling method, combined with modern viticulture practices. On the 20 hectares of area, he grows top-quality Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. Apart from that, he cultivates flagship Nero d’Avola, along with Catarratto, Grillo, and Moscato Bianco. From these grapes, the Ramaddini Winery produces delicious red, white, and rose wines.
