The Passion for Land is Evident at Società Agricola Destro s.r.l.

The Destro family are graciously passionate about what they do. In Monteleguardia, a small village of rural houses 750 metres lies the wine paradise that is quite difficult to turn away from. It is here that they grow Nerello Mascalese and Carricante and here that wines are made with love.

How it All Started

The Destro family, like the Sicilians they are, live on the slopes; with a certain awe, aware of the risk they run, have torn strips of land from the arid expanses of lava of Muntagna over the millennia with stubbornness and courage. The productive personality allows understanding of the characteristics of these lands and the grape varieties grown here to ensure that optimum potential is reached.
