Established in 1860, St Leonards Vineyard is a hideaway for wine and food lovers. Family-owned and run by siblings Eliza, Angela and Nicholas Brown, the vineyard sits on the banks of the Murray River in Rutherglen and is known for its expressive table wines

St Leonards is picturesque and laid-back. Open on weekends, the cellar door offers a memorable tasting experience, and the expansive lawns come alive as a family-friendly destination. The St Leonards Kitchen is open on the first Saturday of every month alongside Music on the Murray. Where we bring live music to the riverbank. Every other weekend, cheeseboards are available for grazing.

From the classics of Shiraz and Chardonnay to the unexpected Cabernet Franc,
the sandy St Leonards soils bring out the best in every variety. The Wahgunyah Shiraz has a cult following, with complex aromatics shaped by the vineyard's distinctive sandy terroir.

Liz was very helpful today. Had a great time, heaps of space for the little ones to run around too. Same company that owns all saints around the corner and wine is great. $15 tastings for 5-6 types, well priced wine. Cheers!

Amazing! Great friendly and welcoming service. The team even kept the kitchen open an extra half hour because we said we had some friends on the way. The back lawn is a great area with plenty of shade to have some snacks and wine. Would highly recommend.

St Leonard’s is the most incredible winery and the perfect wedding venue. We had such a wonderful day and night celebrating our big day here in April. The photo locations around the vineyard are incredible and having our ceremony and reception here made the day flow so seamlessly. The staff are wonderful, and were so accommodating to our ideas. The food, wine and service were a big highlight of our day and our wedding guests were so impressed with St Leonard’s as a whole. We can’t recommend this venue enough! Thank you St Leonard’s :)
