A Legacy of Winemaking

Currently managed by the third generation of the family, Tenuta Monte Gorna has a rich history. The first generation laid the foundation by planting grapes and passing down traditional winemaking techniques. The second generation focused on restructuring the vineyards and introducing local grape varieties. Today, the third generation oversees the production and distribution of their wines, both in Italy and internationally.

High-Quality Organic Wines from Mount Etna

The vineyards of Tenuta Monte Gorna thrive on the slopes between the craters of Mount Ilicie and Mount Gorna, with the sea on both sides. The estate primarily cultivates Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese grapes for their red wines, while Carricante and Catarratto grapes are used for their white wines. The vineyards employ organic farming methods, featuring ancient stone walls that reflect the region's history. The significant temperature variations between day and night, along with sandy soil, contribute to the growth of exceptional grapes.
