For this region, the Tenuta Vitalonga Winery has followed organic approach to winemaking with minimal external intervention to ensure their products are the reflection of the land and the long tradition of the region.
Organic production of Wine and Olive Oil at Tenuta Vitalonga
In their beautiful vineyards, they grow the various national and international varieties of grapes such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Merlot, Cabernet and Chardonnay. The wines made from these grapes have been certified organic since 2018. Tenuta Vitalonga makes red, white and rosé wines in their cellar. Their wines have been highly rated by recognized wine experts and they are proud of all their processes and the final products. Other than the wines, they also have a small production of organic olive made from native varieties.
