Fresh Winds Blowing Through this Historic Winery
Over the years, the company has passed on to several historic families. In 1982, the winery became the property of Sgorbati Family. Today, Enrico Sgorbati owns the winery and continues his grandfather’s traditions of winemaking. He has renovated the family company and revived the old vineyards to produce high-quality wines. The parish church, established in the 1600s, is also the property of the winery at Torre Fornello. An arch portal, next to the parish church, provides a unique view to the whole winery. Moreover, the renovated horses stable, built in the 17th century, host exhibitions and events of the company. The villa is the prestigious accommodation and event hosting building of the winery. Furthermore, the ancient cellar, dated back to 1600, is located below the villa.
