Viñedos De Sonsierra

On our winery routes through La Roja, we arrived in the small town of San Vicente de S., where the beautiful Sonsierra winery is located. The winery, owned by the farmers of the area, offered us a wonderful wine experience. We really enjoyed the exceptional guided tour given by Lorena. Lorena is an expert in the world of wine and with her extensive experience she guided us through the visit, telling us the history of the winery and discovering secrets that we did not know. We were surprised to learn that the Sonsierra winery is the only one that has an exclusive room for Singulares wines, where Lorena told us about the winery's projects with these Singulares wines, maintaining the roots of its tradition. During the visit, tastings are held in different places of the winery, accompanied by delicious tapas, where you can enjoy the magnificent facilities that combine technology and tradition. We thank Lorena for this special experience. Highly recommended for any wine lover who wants to visit a unique winery. We will definitely be back.

If you are in the area and want to visit a small winery and enjoy a friendly treatment, Sonsierra is undoubtedly the ideal winery. Lorena is a wine expert and it is clear that she enjoys her work. We felt very comfortable and learned details and anecdotes about the world of wine that we did not know. Also worth highlighting is the tasting at different points of the winery during the course of the visit. Highly recommended, we were very satisfied! ☺️

It was a pleasant surprise to discover Bodegas Sonsierra and Lorena, who was in charge of showing us around and accompanying us throughout the experience at the winery. We were very happy with the visit. Lorena was attentive to our well-being at all times, making sure we didn't lack anything and that we understood all the information she gave us. The truth is that we found the visit to be super enjoyable. It was a great idea to do the tasting during the visit, and not at the end, as usually happens in other places. 100% recommended. The most recommendable of all. Visiting the Sonsierra wineries has been an unforgettable experience. The guide was exceptional, not only for her kindness and closeness, but also for her ability to adapt the visit to our personal tastes. We had the opportunity to participate in the grape harvest, which made the experience even more authentic and special. Her presentation was impeccable, making each explanation about the winemaking process fascinating. The tasting was perfectly directed, allowing us to enjoy each wine with deep knowledge and genuine appreciation. Her passion and knowledge can be seen in every detail, which made the visit enriching and unique. Without a doubt, an experience to repeat!

We had a a fabulous day with Lorena and a nice kayak tour combined with the wine experience. We have done many wine tours in Europe and California and this was top notch! We so enjoyed it!

We visited Bodegas Sonsierra doing the "Sonsierra experience". Everything was excellent: Lorena, the guide and super expert, enlightened us not only with her knowledge of the wines, but also about the history, the cooperative, the technique and even the culture and history of the area. If you are a wine lover, both for the winery, new and old (each with its charm) and the wines themselves, which are excellent, you should not miss the opportunity to visit the winery.

What an experience! Lorena was an exceptional guide and teacher. She was also kind and funny. Lorena provided just the right amount of information about the history, the culture, wine making and wine tasting in the manner that was educational, but not overwhelming. The outing to the vineyards was beautiful. The facility tour offered a behind the scenes look at the different production and storage methods. And the wine - Delicious!!

Bodegas Sonsierra have given us a new dimension of quality. Comparing several wineries in Spain and Italy, this has proven to be the best so far. after a nice kayak trip in the river Ebro, we were picked up and driven straight into the vineyards where we got to taste the first wine and grapes directly from the vines. Lots of history about the area is shared and shown. We then went to the production site where we were given a tour through each area where we were given tastings at each location along the way. We were lucky enough to also taste straight from the barrels and taste the difference between American and French oak. This is something we have learned so much from, and will never forget. I would like to give 10 stars, but unfortunately 5 is the maximum. thank you for a nice experience

Great visit at Sonsierra. We tried different wines and got a good discussions and explanation for the different parameters that makes the wine great. Our guide, Lorena, was really nice and had great knowledge. She could answer everything about the wines.

Stumbled upon this bodega by chance one Sunday and left with several bottles. Very nice discovery. In addition to the quality of the wines, I particularly appreciated the welcome, the explanations and the advice (in perfect English).

We did a wine tasting in the bodega. It was very informative and very nice company on a hike. The wines all tasted very good 👍. The food went well with them. Highly recommended

Very warm welcome. We were able to taste the wines for free in the tasting room of the shop. The prices of the wines are correct and the wines are of good quality.
