3rd generation of wine makers. We had a tour and 5 wine tastings all were fantastic. The owner speaks very good English and so we got to learn a lot about the different types of Barolo wine.

We just had a wine tour by Lorenzo (virna’s nephew). The tour was very interesting, and comprehensive, about the winery process and the winery impressive history. The tasting if the different wines were very very good and we will enjoy them at home too 😜. It was a great experience and excellent hospitality!

A visit and tasting at a family-run business that operates perfectly. Four tastings were offered, with impeccable explanations for each bottle. The boy (Virma's nephew) may be very young, but he's truly smart and knowledgeable. The only small drawback: it would have been nice to have had Ms. Virna with us until the end of the tasting and to have received a few more "gems" from her about the business and its journey.

We had an incredible visit with Virna! I goofed and failed to properly confirm in advance but Virna was flexible and made a “Winemaker Experience” a memorable last tasting in Barolo! We were shown the wine operations and had a tasting where we could ask Virna all the questions we wanted. The wines were outstanding. We tasted wine from around 10 wineries during our visit and Virna was one of our absolute favorites. We bought more wine here than anywhere else because her wine is so unique and incredible. It was also the best winery experience we had in Barolo, particularly as educated wine lovers who like to get into the details. Virna is a must-see!

We last bought here 18 years ago and loved the family's outstanding Barolos in the years to come. I returned very recently, by appointment . The welcome was every bit as warm and stylish as in 2001 and the tasting almost too generous. Signora Virna's big name Barolos are gorgeous and great value for money. Barolo is Italy's top wine. Virna and her sister run this exquisite Barolo winery as a family business, which is probably why it is so good and yet affordable. Long may it last, and visit while you can. I bought quite a lot but hope to be back before long. Don't forget to taste and buy some of their less famous wines: they are delicious too. Any expert will tell you that it is always the grower and producer who makes the difference. Virna's wines, all of them, are in my view as good as it gets. One of my most enjoyable wine-buying experiences for quite a while. Mille grazie ancora per l'accolto.
