Main Grown Varieties at the Winery
The vineyards are located on the long-standing hills, kissed by the sun, and beautified by panoramic scenery. The estate grows a broad array of vines on the cultivated land, including Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Dornfelder, and Cabernet Dorio. The winery is also home to world-class Gewürztraminer, Kerner, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spätburgunder, and Müller-Thurgau. After selective handpicking during the harvest season, the best bunches undergo a soft pressing.
The real magic happens in the wine cellar where grapes get converted into wines. The white wines live in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers during fermentation. For red wines, the winery uses large wooden barrels made from Palantine oak trees. Some varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignons, are aged and refined in barriques for several years before bottling.
