At Weingut Doppler-Hertel, the passion for winemaking is evident in every bottle. The family combines traditional techniques with modern machinery to produce exceptional red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. Both adults and children contribute to the winemaking process, ensuring a family-oriented approach to quality.

Signature Grape Varieties

The estate's vineyards thrive on sun-drenched hills, showcasing a diverse range of grape varieties. Notable cultivars include Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Dornfelder, and Cabernet Dorio. The winery also produces renowned Gewürztraminer, Kerner, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spätburgunder, and Müller-Thurgau. During harvest, only the finest grapes are handpicked and gently pressed.

In the wine cellar, the transformation of grapes into wine takes place. White wines ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, while red wines mature in large wooden barrels crafted from Palatinate oak. Some varieties, like Cabernet Sauvignon, are aged in barriques for several years, enhancing their complexity before bottling.
