Welcome to the Heart of Pfalz

At Weingut Margarethenhof, winemaking is more than a profession; it’s a tradition that spans four generations. Nestled in the picturesque Pfalz Wine Region, we cultivate 17 hectares of vineyards with dedication and passion. Martin Lucas and Yvonne Libelli, the current stewards of the winery, have combined their expertise in viticulture with a fresh perspective, ensuring that our wines reflect both heritage and innovation.

Wines with Character

Our wines are crafted to tell stories—stories of joy, celebration, and the rich culture of Pfalz. Each bottle captures the essence of our region, particularly our renowned Rieslings, which showcase the unique characteristics of our diverse vineyard sites. We believe that every sip should evoke a sense of place and connection.

The Unique Terroirs of Margarethenhof

The terroirs surrounding our winery are a blend of red sandstone, basalt, shell limestone, loess, and clay. Located in Forst along the Wine Route, our vineyards benefit from a variety of soil types, each contributing to the distinct flavors of our wines. We strive to express the individuality of each vineyard in our bottles, ensuring that every vintage reflects its unique origins. At Margarethenhof, we understand that Riesling is not just a grape; it embodies the character of our land and the artistry of our winemaking.

Great motorhome parking space with a very friendly winemaking family 🍷 Pitch including electricity and a well-maintained toilet as well as water. Plus a great wine tasting and chilled wines for a cozy evening. We also loved the lounge furniture that is available to everyone to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine or chat with other campers. We'll definitely be back! Then we can certainly use the beautiful parking spaces behind the house in the countryside. Also worth mentioning are great hiking trails and bike paths right in front of the parking space and great places in town to eat delicious food

The Margarethenhof winery in Forst is simply great! The family is so warm and friendly that you immediately feel welcome. The location between the vines is simply magical and offers a wonderful atmosphere. We were able to host an event here and were thrilled from start to finish. The wines were excellent and matched our event perfectly. A huge thank you to the entire family for the opportunity to hold our GREEN DELI EVENT with you. Thank you for the unforgettable day! We can only warmly recommend the Margarethenhof winery. Green Deli Team

The Margarethenhof winery operates according to the guidelines of controlled, environmentally friendly viticulture, which I particularly like. This is the right approach, and the result is truly excellent wines. The prices are also very reasonable. I particularly like the Riesling single-vineyard wines. Sample 06/22 Wines to try: 2021 Scheurebe, 2021 Riesling das Kernstück, 2021 Chardonnay, 2021 Forster Ortswein, 2021 Forster Stift, 2020 Forster Ungeheuer. Here's a brief overview from 06/19: 2017 Riesling Kernstück, 2017 Riesling Pechstein, 2017 Riesling Jesuitengarten, 2018 Riesling Ungeheuer, 2014 Spätburgunder, 2015 Spätburgunder. Enjoy tasting.

Found via Google... and it is really beautiful here!! A beautiful company with a great parking space including clean (even boys and girls separated) sanitary facilities and “caring” care… everything is well explained! Electricity is also included in the affordable overnight price. And the wines are incredibly delicious - we booked a cozy wine tasting and learned a lot of stories about it from Ms. Lucas - and of course we did some shopping too! The beautiful, small town of Forst can be explored on foot - there are various delicious restaurants to discover and Ms. Lucas also has tips for who is open when... We'll definitely be happy to come back!!!
