The Schreieck family has been in the wine-growing tradition since 1698. The winery was officially established in 1958 as Weingut Helmut Schreieck by Helmut Schreieck. The vineyard and winery are the results of the hard work of each member of the Schreieck family. Every member takes responsibility in the business and every knowledge acquired is evenly put to work. By the edge of Palatinate forest lies the family-owned and operated vineyard of the Schreieck family. Here the eye and heart open by the view of the picturesque vineyard and vine cultivation process. Great location with perfect amenities (Sauna/spa brand new, wine tasting area, great breakfast with plenty of homemade choices). Wifi was on the down side (poor connection and low bandwidth). Perfect hub for tours into Pfälzerwald with lots of authentic restaurants.

Nice hotel that I have used several times. When I should check check out this time it was not possible to pay with Visa or MasterCard. A great hotel in nice surroundings, top breakfast with excellent service. Rooms new, friendly and clean, unfortunately the loud air conditioning in front of our room was a bit annoying. The place can be reached quickly on foot, parking spaces directly at the house. Excellent wine shop. A successful short trip.

A top address at a fair price. Everything was perfect, the registration, the check-out, the service was top notch. The rooms are modern but comfortable, everything is very well maintained, no dings, no stains, the bathroom was huge and I slept excellently in the bed. If I had to find a fly in the ointment, it would be the breakfast rolls, which were reheated and not fresh. The buffet was otherwise extensive and everything was always freshly prepared and replenished.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of town. The rooms are nice and clean, the hotel has its own parking spaces and there is also a storage room for bicycles. Downstairs in the hotel is the wine shop where you can drink good wine, also in the courtyard. The breakfast is absolutely great, a very good selection, especially of savory things, plus small specialties that change daily. The highlight of the hotel, however, is the location. It is in the middle of town and all restaurants can be reached within a few minutes on foot.
