Bergdolt-Reif & Nett: A Family Tradition Since 1838

Located in the picturesque Pfalz wine region, Bergdolt-Reif & Nett Winery sits between Speyer and Neustadt along the scenic Wine Route. Surrounded by fertile soils and beautiful landscapes, this family-owned estate has been producing high-quality wines for generations.

Since 2015, Bergdolt-Reif & Nett has proudly held organic certification.

Fifth Generation Winemaking

Managed by the fifth generation of the Nett family, the winery has embraced modern techniques while honoring traditional practices. Following a renovation in 2017, the estate now features state-of-the-art equipment alongside time-honored methods. Notably, some vineyards are tended using horsepower, a practice revived in 2011 to promote sustainability.

Vineyard Diversity and Replanting Efforts

With a commitment to biodiversity, Bergdolt-Reif & Nett replanted 50-year-old vineyards in 2004, cultivating a diverse range of grape varieties. The estate grows Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Muskateller, along with popular varieties like Riesling, Scheurebe, Auxerrois, Cabernet, Merlot, Lagrein, and Shiraz. After careful handpicking, these grapes are transformed into premium red, white, and rosé wines, as well as sparkling and dessert wines.

The winery's cellar has been thoughtfully redesigned to blend traditional methods with modern technology. It features gentle pressing equipment and stainless steel tanks for precise fermentation. Wines are aged in wooden barrels and large casks, allowing for the development of rich flavors and complexity. A dedicated bottling room ensures that each bottle meets the winery's high standards.

Green Deli Event
Reviewed on October 16, 2023

We had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable GREEN DELI EVENT at the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery in Duttweiler and it was an experience we wouldn't want to miss. This place is simply magical, and the family is equally fascinating. Christian – THE BRAIN at the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery not only knows his craft, but he lives his passion for wine with dedication. His wines are a true masterpiece and reflect the love and care that goes into every bottle. We had the opportunity to showcase some of the exquisite wines on our menu and were completely blown away by the quality and taste, which matched our grill menu perfectly. The wine shop is a wonderful place to immerse yourself in the world of wine, and the idyllic location in the wine shop is simply breathtaking. We can't recommend this place enough, be it for wine tastings, events or just to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks to the entire team for an unforgettable opportunity to host our event at the winery. We are already looking forward to the next events with you! Green Deli Team!

Very modern, eye-catching winery, but the wines and sparkling wine are also convincing. Best detailed advice and I was able to try every wine, without exception. Whether white or red, the quality is right! Some would say too expensive, but the prices are reasonable. The current collection (2022) is very fruit-oriented, so the dry wines seem quite sweet. Rehearsal 06/22 Wines that appeal to me: Chardonnay sparkling wine, 2021 Riesling II Edition, 2021 Pinot Gris III Tradition, 2021 Pinot Blanc I Avantgarde, 2021 Pinot Gris Mandelberg ReBarrique, 2021 Hiking body and soul, 2020 Skiing Pinot Noir, 2019 Merlot I Avantgarde, 2019 Shiraz I Avantgarde. Here is my small selection for you (2020), but I like a few more: 2016 Reese van Ling Riesling sparkling wine brut, 2018 Müller-Mayer-Schmidt, 2018 Scheurebe Tradition dry, 2018 Sauvignon Blanc Black Edition dry, 2018 Pinot Blanc Black Edition dry, 2017 Pinot Gris "Hansen" Avantgarde" dry, 2018 Gewürztraminer "Basin" Avantgarde" dry, 2017 Gewürztraminer Ausles noble sweet, 2016 Secrets Pinot Noir dry, 2016 Merlot "Cross" Avantgarde have fun tasting
