Eymann Winery, Located in a Serene Spot of Earth
The Eymann winery is present in the Gönnheim in a peaceful and serene spot of Earth. In 1984, the owner of the company took over his father’s winery after being inspired by his studies. He thought of implementing something groundbreaking and advanced. As a result, the estate was converted into organic. He had an unlimited belief in progress and wanted the responsibility of making quality wines. Along with his wife Inge, he continued the hard work and kept on the viticulture. The team works in harmony together and makes their contributions to the success of their wines. In the future, the owner’s son, Vincent, will look after the estate. Their estate also has a restaurant and hotel to hosts their guests and visitors.
Organic and Sustainable Farming
With the birth of his children, the owner decided to convert to organic and sustainable farming to protect the surrounding nature and the health of their vineyards for use by future generations. The belief with which they work is to create a balance and harmony between agriculture and the environment. Moreover, the Pfalz region has lime-rich soils, which, along with an ideal microclimate, allows them to grow high-quality grapes. There are many herbs, flowers, kiwis, and other citrus fruits grown apart from the grapes. The main grape varietals that grow here include Riesling and Spatburgunder. The best grapes are handpicked and used to make their high-quality red, white, rose, and sparkling wines. The owner is also a passionate chef and cooks regional cuisine, depending on the season.
