Weingut Loeffler is located directly on the Baden Wine Route, at the center of Markgraferland. The winery sits between the meditative Winzerort Ballrechten-Dottingen and the frosty town of Staufen. Weingut Loeffler Winery has been run by the same family for three generations, displaying a real passion for winemaking. The family makes constant upgrades to the winery to ensure the quality of their products. Their wines have won multiple awards, including the Mondial du Chasselas and the Gault Millau.

Vineyards in the Hills of Fohrenberg and Castellberg
The natural surroundings include steep slopes and stunning hills at Weingut Loeffler. There is a drystone wall with stone steps reaching beyond the country’s borders and adds to the region’s cultural and natural heritage. They have almost 14 hectares of vineyards at the hills of Fohrenberg and Castellberg. The mild Mediterranean climate, sunny days, and the loamy fertile soils are perfect for vine cultivation.
Main Cultivated Varieties at the Winery
The main varieties of grapes in the vineyards at Weingut Loeffler are Gutedel, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscatel, and Chardonnay. The grapes go into the production of their famous red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. All the work in the vineyards is done under environmentally-controlled ecological guidelines. There is low production of grapes but extremely high-quality. Moreover, they also produce fine liqueurs and spirits in their home distillery. Weingut Loeffler Winery owns a seasonal restaurant that gives visitors the chance to enjoy their wines with local cuisine and their farmhouse bread in the presence of stunning hills and natural beauty.
