For centuries, Weinhaus Pfaffmann has adhered to a philosophy that emphasizes harmony with nature. By focusing on organic viticulture, the winery minimizes the use of plant protection products and fertilizers, ensuring that their wines reflect the true essence of the terroir.

Innovative Energy Practices

Weinhaus Pfaffmann is dedicated to sustainability. The winery utilizes service water from cisterns and harnesses solar energy through a 3,500 sq m photovoltaic system generating 317 kW. Additionally, waste wood from the vineyards is repurposed for heating, optimizing resource use while respecting the environment.

Enchanting Terroirs

This small winery has big aspirations. In addition to their wine production, Weinhaus Pfaffmann cultivates 35 hectares of vines, along with 9 hectares of apples, 1 hectare of Williams Christ pears, and 5 hectares of apricots. They also operate an in-house distillery, showcasing the diverse agricultural bounty of the region.

Highly recommended, since the wine tasting in the dark a few years ago we have been regularly ordering our wine here and are often there. A very loving and warm winemaking family, the Pfaffmanns! We are already looking forward to the wine festival starting today, August 15th, 2024!
