Vineyards in their Region
Their vines grow on almost twenty hectares of land in the best locations with the highest fertility and minerals in the Izola area of the Venetian Republic. The soils, temperature, climate, and rainfall are perfect in the region for the growth and cultivation of high-quality vines.
Their vineyards, namely, Roncaldo, Morer, Folo, and Pivol, are the area’s premium locations.
The best grapes and integrated processes help create vibrant and unique wines that reflect their gifted terroir characteristics. The main types of grapes grown at Zaro Winery are Malvasia, Refosk, Negratenera, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
