A Rich Winemaking Legacy

With a winemaking tradition spanning over 200 years, Pintar Wine & Guest Estate is proud to celebrate nearly a century of its winery's history. Six decades ago, we were pioneers in Brda, distributing our wines and fruits throughout Slovenia. In the last ten years, we have expanded our focus to include boutique tourism, allowing visitors to experience our passion for viticulture firsthand. Today, three generations of the Pintar family actively contribute to the estate's success.

Our Vineyards and Terroir

Our vineyards—Teja, Spalonca, Selo, Vrtina, Nad Koritom, and Figovce—boast around 8,000 vines, featuring a mix of international classics and local grape varieties. The unique combination of Alpine and Mediterranean climates, along with our commitment to the Brda region, results in grapes and wines of exceptional quality.

Unforgettable Guest Experiences

Guests can enjoy a charming bed and breakfast experience, participate in wine tastings in our cellar, vineyards, or by the pool. We also offer guided wine walks, where you can learn about our winemaking process. Visitors can engage with the local culture, visit nearby attractions, and take part in various activities in the beautiful Brda region.

Out of a dream. At the pool with a dining view i got served the most beautiful white summer wine. Kids played in the pool and were spoiled by the family. Then we slept in a tiny house in their vine yard. What an experience! Not only for the uncommon sleep place, but for the most warm-hearted host family. It’s a hidden treasure.

During the June 16th event, a refreshing, authentic, and warm end-of-day meeting focused on pleasant red and white wines, with two special favorites: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with magnificent colors, round red fruits for one and cherry for the other...

I recently stayed at Apartment Valentina for four days and I must say it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the owners were very friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. One thing I highly recommend is including the breakfast option during your stay. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we found it to be a great way to start our day exploring the area. Trust me, you will not regret it! During our stay, we had the opportunity to visit the guest house wine cellar. It was a truly unique experience. The owner took the time to explain to us how their new technology wine press works, and it was fascinating to see the process firsthand. If you're a wine enthusiast, this is definitely a must-see. Another great aspect of staying at Apartment Valentina is that they are pet-friendly. Our furry friend was warmly welcomed . In terms of exploring the surrounding area, I highly recommend visiting Šmartno and trying out the restaurants there. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was charming. If you're up for some adventure, take a walk to Sabotin and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. If you have a car, I suggest driving to Čedad or even further to Piran. Both places offer unique experiences and stunning views. Overall, I cannot recommend Apartment Valentina enough. The hospitality, the delicious food, the wine cellar, the pet-friendly policy, and the convenient location for exploring the area all make for a memorable stay. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

A super-friendly hostess. A bottle of house wine was a welcome treat. Breakfast was always plentiful and delicious. A wine tasting at the winery is definitely worth it. The room, outdoor area, and pool area were very clean. Beautiful view of the vineyards. Highly recommended!

Great accommodation in the Slovenian mountains. Very clean. A great little pool area. In the evening, the owner hosted a wine tasting with a cheese and cold cuts platter right by the pool. It was an unforgettable evening. Highly recommended for a stopover.
