Exploring the Wines of Rioja

I support Boutique Wineries but I also can adapt to your preferences.

The Rioja wine region is one of the most beautiful places to visit less than 100minutes from San Sebastian.

It stands out for its terraced vineyards, centuries-old ruins used for winemaking or care of the vines, centuries-old villages of the ancient Kingdom of Navarra (one of the most beautiful in Spain) and unique panoramic views.
In addition, today there are very unique wineries with exceptional architecture.

¿Are you ready to enjoy an incredible day visiting unique and singular wineries while traveling through one of the most beautiful wine valleys we have in our territory?
YOU´LL remember it for good!

Everything is suitable.

The winery we will visit has a 500 years old cellar, tunnels of more than 500 years old, used in the past as a form of defense against a possible invasion. Let me show it, it is jus fascinating.

We will also visit more modern and family owned wineries where they all have something in common: excellent wine quality and meeting people who are passionate about what they do. You will personally meet that person who is crazy about their wines and you will feel that spark and love for wine passed down through the generations.

After that we will walk in the vineyards, understand the terroir with 5 sense experience.

Apart from the good wine we will immerse ourselves in The Wine Valley, which means that during the whole day we will enjoy idyllic places with incredible views, full of colours, traveling mists, rocky mountains and charming villages.

Lunch in a 1,000 years old medieval tower..... It's gonna be the best ending having a typical local picnic lunch in a private cellar only for us.

Wonderful experience!

We signed up for “Discover The Rioja Region” tour with Jon as our tour guide. Jon was amazing and so knowledgeable about the area. We had the opportunity to visit a a family owned winery and participate in wine tastings with the owner. Our other tastings were amazing as well - visited caves and learned the process of making/aging the wine. He also took us to some amazing sites with views that were breathtaking. One special memory is the lunch we had as Jon personally knew one of the wineries and we were hosted to have lunch in one of their underground areas complete with wine tasting and a delicious traditional Spanish lunch complete with fresh tomatoes, cheese, Jamon, tortilla and of course wine. In addition to being a great tour guide, Jon was an amazing photographer which allowed us to not worry about taking photos as he captured the memories for us. I highly recommend this tour with Jon as your guide. It is clear he is passionate about wine and making sure his guests have a memorable experience. You will not be disappointed.
