“Polluce” PGI Calabria red wine from Tenuta Dioscuri. Pollux is considered the son of Zeus and brother of Castor and Helen. The affection that unites them is so strong that when Castor dies Pollux, who is immortal, decides to die too. The Dioscuri were twins, even if their mother conceived them separately, uniting on the same night first with Zeus and then with the Spartan king Tyndareus. From the union with the god Pollux was born, who distinguished himself as a boxer in the Greek Olympics. Polluce wine is long-lived, fruity with hints of cherry, fresh, aromatic and harmonious.

With a blend of three varieties of black grapes, we got a blend (Cuvée).

The „Lagralena“ DOC riserva 2014 from Plonerhof is the „black pearl“ among our wines.

The union of several vines enhances the taste and aroma of the individual varietal scents. The result is a golden yellow wine, extremely complex on the nose, where Mediterranean notes of fruits and herbs stand out, supported by warm notes of toasted barley due to the wood. In the mouth it is very fruity, with a good structure and excellent persistence. We like to call it “our red dressed in white”.

Leopoldo IGT is made with Pugnitello, an indigenous or autochtonous grape variety from Tuscany, Italy.

Le Fraghe Bardolino appears a purple-tinged ruby red of medium intensity. Its rich, complex bouquet is the result of a perfect blend of fruity essences such as sweet-sour cherry and blueberry, and spicy nuances of cinnamon and black pepper.

La Touge is a medium bodied red wine made with Syrah and Grenache grapes.

Kotsifali is an indigenous Cretan grape variety. Fermented in stainless steel vats

it is a fresh and easy Chianti, an alternative to the usual aperitif wine.

In the years when they are less efficient we let them rest and we only produce 1000 bottles. The resulting wine denotes a great depth in aromas, aromas and concentration.
