Andreou winery was founded almost 27 years ago in 1995 by Andreas Andreou.

Volcanic Soils Nourish the Winery

Our winery is located geographically next to the Methana peninsula, which is famous for its active volcano and thermal baths. Most of our vineyards, however, are located in the volcanic soils of Methana.

An Experienced Winemaker

Since 2010, the estate has been taken over by his son, Nektarios Andreou, who has equipped the winery with new modern machinery and gave renewed vigor to the company.

Nektarios Andreou is a winemaker and oenologist, he is also a graduate of WSET® level 2.

Within four years of dealing with quality bottled wine, we have received
excellent reviews from wine connoisseurs and we have won
28 awards (T.I.W.S.C, Decanter, IWSC and Olymp awards).

Best experience ever! The wine they’re making is absolutely delicious and special. We bought some to take home because it was too good. The tour was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of the winery and the local grapes they’re using. For wine lovers - that’s your place!!! We had a great time with Giota and Nektarios

We had the most wonderful time at the Αndreou Winery tasting. Nektarios treated us like family and made us feel so welcomed as he provided amazing food, detailed wine tastings (which were amazing) and great stories. We didn't know what to expect, however, it was the highlight of our trip while visiting the Peloponnese! Thank you Nektarios for your time and passion in wine making!

An Unforgettable Experience My recent winery tour in Greece was absolutely incredible. The wine was exquisite, and the tour offered a unique glimpse into the hosts' home, making us feel like part of their family. This wasn't just a wine tasting and tour; it was an immersive experience filled with warmth and hospitality. Nektarious, our host, was outstanding. He guided us through the history and process of their wine-making with passion. After learning about the story and family heritage behind the wine, we sat down to taste it, accompanied by delicious food that was just as beautiful as the wine. The food, lovingly prepared by Nektarious' wife, perfectly complemented the flavors of the wine. This was, without a doubt, the best experience I had in Greece. Everything about it was exceptional—the wine, the food, and the heartfelt welcome. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Greece.

The vinery is amazing! Wine is tasty, and really outstanding, some made in old amphoras. I think it has relation to vulcanic soils and a lot of sun. We've bought 17 bottles after degustation and I had to order additional baggage for the airplane. The owner Nektarios is very friendly, he told the stories about wine, we just had an interesting conversation about life, and he treated us with a quince marmelade and cofee.
