Troupis Winery: A Family Tradition Since 2010

Located in the picturesque Fteri region of the Mantinia Plateau, Troupis Winery is a family-owned establishment dedicated to crafting exceptional wines. The winery specializes in the unique Moschofilero grape, known for its aromatic qualities and vibrant flavors. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding Arcadian villages and lush vineyards, making it a perfect destination for wine lovers and travelers alike.

Growth and Innovation at Troupis Winery

Since its inception in 2010, Troupis Winery has expanded its operations across seven hectares of private vineyards. The winery has continuously improved its production techniques and invested in skilled personnel, ensuring a memorable experience for guests. Advanced vinification methods are employed to cultivate both traditional and modern grape varieties, enhancing the quality of their wines.

Celebrating Greek Grape Varieties

The Troupis family is passionate about producing a diverse range of Greek grape varieties, including Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Mavrodaphne, and rare varieties like Kolliniatiko. After careful handpicking, the grapes are processed under controlled temperatures to create exquisite red and white wines. The winery also offers high-quality rosé and dessert wines, all proudly labeled with PDO and PGI designations.

In addition to modernizing their winemaking techniques, Troupis Winery has renovated its cellar, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, spacious cold storage, and a new bottling line. The well-appointed tasting room and production areas provide an inviting atmosphere for guests to learn about the winemaking process and sample the winery's exceptional offerings.

Fantastic friendly hosts. We tasted 12 wines and for the full experience would recommend the same. Wines are available to purchase it’s hard to chose which ones you are not going to buy. There is no pressure to purchase. They just want you to know about the wines and they are passionate about what they do. We sat outside after the tour and enjoyed the scenery. Take your time

On my New Year's trip to beautiful Arcadia this year, I stopped at Trupi Winery based on the reviews. I tried my luck as it was hard to expect to find anyone local during the holidays. Luckily for me, I met two very pleasant people - wine connoisseurs - and took home some excellent wines. Thank you, I will follow your wine advice and visit you again very soon!

Clever, family owned, delicious!

We had a spontaneous visit after a short phonecall in September 2024. It was during harvesting so we witnessed some of the work done on site! We got a very lovely tour during the whole winery (very small but the more interesting), snacks and a good wine tasting. And the wine!!! We fell in love. Absolutely amazing. Especially the Retsina and the Moschofilero Tomi. This family is absolutely lovely, the wine is great, and it is absolutely worth a visit! We hope they have a great future ahead!

A family winery, hospitable and pleasant. The work done there is innovative as the Troupis family has given the Moschofilero a complex appearance, color and flavor!! Many beautiful tastings of Moschofilero and other neighboring varieties that are vinified there. For anyone who is in Mantineia and wants to learn Moschofilero, in my opinion the Troupi winery is the most suitable place!! Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely be back!!

Some of the best wines we’ve ever tasted! Very unique with exciting backstories and technologies explained. The owners were incredibly kind and hosted a fantastic wine tasting, despite the spontaneity. Would highly recommend!

If you can arrange an excursion and combine it or still want to visit one of the Mantinea wineries, then the stop is a must! The winery is a family business. You will have the opportunity to speak to the family themselves, who will be happy to talk about the area, the Moschofilero and the history. You will tour the premises and, at the end, if you wish, you will have the opportunity to taste the winery's wines with one of the packages offered. I suggest you taste all the wines so you have the opportunity to get to know in depth the dynamics of the grape variety as well as the amazing work they do. We were amazed by the family's passion, love and authenticity for what they do.
