The estate has recently started growing unique Moschofilero grapes to deliver the highest quality white wine, infused with rich-aromas and organoleptic characteristics. Due to the geographical location, guests can immerse themselves in the picturesque sight-seeing and Arcadian villages of Mantinia.
The owner of Troupis Winery emphasizes the production of a wide range of Greek varieties.
The Winery Expansion and Improvements
Troupis Winery began wine production in 2010 when they began utilizing the seven hectares of privately-owned vineyards. Over the years, the winery has expanded and improved quality production, personnel, and techniques, making the winery a great place to visit. Many advanced vinification methods have been introduced in the cultivation of old and new vine varieties.
Cultivating Greek Grape Varieties
Troupis Winery owner emphasizes the production of a wide range of Greek varieties such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Mavrodaphne, and old and forgotten vines such as Kolliniatiko. After selective handpicking, these grapes are processed under controlled temperature conditions to give rise to luscious red and white wines. The estate also produces top-class rosé and dessert wines, all under the finest PDO and PGI labels.
Apart from incorporating modern techniques in the viticulture, the Troupis Family has also renovated the cellar. The modern equipment, large capacity cold stores, and a new bottling line have been introduced to deliver high-quality wines. A well-furnished tasting room, tank area, and bottling line area are also included in the cellar.
