Welcome to Ktima Panagopoulos, a charming family winery located in the scenic Mantinia plateau of Greece. Our story began in the early 1990s when Thodoris and Themi, a dedicated couple, started cultivating the renowned Greek Moschofilero grape in the Gortsouli region. Their passion for winemaking blossomed into a dream, and by 2017, their children, Marilena and Dimitris, took the reins, infusing the winery with fresh ideas and innovation. With Marilena’s background in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Viticulture and Oenology, along with Dimitris’ expertise as a Food Technician, they aimed to create a boutique winery celebrated for its unique, high-quality wines. Their efforts culminated in the launch of ANTINOE, a label that embodies the essence of Mantinia’s signature grape.

The Moschofilero Grape Thrives in Mantinia

Situated at an elevation of 650 meters, our estate is surrounded by lush vineyards, just a short distance from the ancient city walls of Mantinia. The region's loamy soil plays a crucial role in enhancing the vibrant aromatic profile of the Moschofilero grape. With over thirty years of dedicated cultivation, our family proudly offers wines that reflect the true character of our vineyards.

A Memorable Wine Experience Awaits

At Ktima Panagopoulos, we invite you to enjoy a unique wine experience that combines relaxation with a taste of our heritage. Stroll through our vineyards, learn about our winemaking process, and savor our wines, each thoughtfully paired with local cheeses and charcuterie. This is more than just a visit; it’s a chance to connect with the heart of winemaking in a beautiful natural setting. Each sip of our wine tells a story, celebrating the joy of good company and fine flavors.

A wonderful experience. The Panagopoulos family made us feel at home. Although small, this winery has nothing to envy of the big labels. Furthermore, of all the winery visits made in Italy, their explanation was by far the most accurate and interesting. Their wine is exceptional, and I say this as an Italian and enthusiastic drinker. I highly recommend a tour in the middle of the vineyards of their winery, it regenerates the spirit!

A beautiful property. The people who own it know their craft very well, are very friendly and competent, with a lot of love they have created a little paradise. And now we come to the wines, all great, but my weakness was the Moschofler, which we were told was in limited production. . Guys, nice to meet you, I hope to see you again sometime

Great visit.

Visited in September 2025 on their first day of harvest. Still took the time for our tour and tasting. Excellent wine and great hospitality. Beautiful, easy drive from Naphlion. Make a reservation for the best experience and don't be put off by the narrow roads, hand painted road signs, and lack of a big extravagant tasting room. The wine, region, and a family dedicated to their craft are why you should visit. Our tour was more than just about the wine. If you are overwhelmed by ancient Greek history and want a glimps of Greece's future visit this winery.

The Panagopoulos estate offers a great opportunity for people eager to enter the winemaking world and learn everything related to the production of the local wines. The people are warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of the land and the local wines. The wine tasting experience was great and would highly recommend booking a tour if you are near the area.

We visited the estate in early 2025 with our children aged 10 and 12. Admittedly, we did not expect such wonderful hospitality from the owners and producers who left us with excellent impressions. The information about the whole process and production is made with a lot of love and it turned out to teach us many things about wine that we certainly did not know!!!! It is definitely a visit that we highly recommend and especially a tasting of their wonderful wines. Thank you very much!!

What a wonderful family owned winery! A must stop point, only a few minutes from the main road of Peloponnese. Story tells about parents who cultivate the local grapes and sold wine boxes for local taverns, but the next generation, Marilena and Dimitris, took the business to a new level. We first tried Merlo 22 in the Akrothea hotel (a must visit family hotel and restaurant nearby) and found its full and flavored body, and felt its strong presence. During the visit in the winery, we made the full testing. Marilena and Dimitris cultivate local ancient moschofilero grapes and make white, rose, and red wine. I mostly liked the white wine. It reminded me of a sunny day in the field , full of spring flavors , while my wife loved the rose. Thank you to the family for such great experience and hospitality. We definitely come back in the next visit in the area.
