Farm Animals and Aroma Garden | Wine Tour and Tasting at Augustali
Experience a sensory activity at the aromas garden of the farm while walking in the vineyards and olive groves, and get involved in an educational encounter with the farm animals
Nestled right in the middle of Alcamo and Partinico, enjoying the fertile land of Bosco Falconeria, the Augustali Farm is located between the province of Trapani and Palermo. A charming hillside is the home of estate-owned vineyards and olives extended up to 12 hectares. The winery also deals with beekeeping. Guests are always welcome to taste wines, olive oil, and honey upon a visit.
The family has a long procuring history of farming, dating back to the 60s. At that time, the first olive trees were planted in the Bosco Falconeria plot. Later in 2013, Vincenzo Bambina and wife Finella purchased more agricultural land and started replanting grapes and citrus products. The first production line came in 2015, followed by the construction of a new Sicilian-based, square-shaped cellar, known as Baglio. The company undergoes incredible development over the years. Vincenzo also introduced a new line of monovarietal wines in 2017, which is now famous world-wide.
A series of advancements did not just end at the modern cellar. With the construction of a state-of-the-art restaurant, people can now organize their special events, like birthdays, weddings, etc. In 2020, Vincenzo also extends the winery with a Kitchen, dedicated to guests, where you can savour the company’s wines and traditional dishes of Sicily.
Around 8.5 hectares of area is for the vineyards and citrus products. The winery grows broad categories of grapes, including Nero d’Avola, Syrah, Catarratto, Grillo, and Vermentino. All the products are organically farmed and harvested with manual methods. Today, the company produces delicious citrus jellies, along with rich-quality red and white wines.
