Azienda Agricola Melillo is a family-run boutique winery located in the heart of Villa Castelli, a commune in the province of Brindisi on Apulia, on the southeast Italian coast. The winery has been a part of Puglia educational farms network and operates seasonal workshops including “teaching path on grapes” which allows analyzing the botanical, historical, and cultural aspects of the vine and “honey educational path” that allows children and adults to learn about the complex and wonderful social organization of bees and the dynamics of the production of honey, wax, and propolis.

The winery has been cultivating vines, olives, and other local varieties of the Mediterranean which has always been a source of wealth in Puglia.

Wines born from the mastery in the art of vine cultivation for generations, the three brothers Giampiero, Maurizio, and Rosa have revived the legacy of making wines with passion. The rich and sunny territory of the Salento with enhancement and use of local winemaking tradition, they produce spectacular wines typical of Puglia. There have been many improvements in the winery since its first chapter. The winery uses innovative enological knowledge and types of equipment to enhance the quality of wines. Over the decades, the winery has also protected native varieties by focusing on the integrity and genuineness of the products.
