A Unique Winery Nestled Among Volcanoes
The Beginning of an Adventure on a Volcano
Our story began on a charming plot of land, where the beauty of the landscape captured our hearts. This small vineyard, with its terraced fields and ancient lava stone paths, is surrounded by two dormant volcanic cones: Monte Ilice and Monte Gorna. The breathtaking view of the Ionian Sea adds to the allure, making it a truly enchanting place.
Situated on the southeast slope of Mount Etna, the tallest and most active volcano in Europe, our winery benefits from a unique environment for viticulture. At an elevation of 600-800 meters, the rich volcanic soil, infused with essential microelements, nurtures our vines. We cultivate indigenous grape varieties of Etna using traditional methods, ensuring that each bottle reflects the exceptional terroir of our region.
Our commitment to manual vineyard management allows us to produce wines that truly represent the character of Etna. With every sip, you can taste the passion and dedication that goes into crafting our wines, making them a perfect choice for wine lovers and travelers alike.
