Located in Fuente la Higuera, near the picturesque city of Ronda, Bodega BadMan Wines thrives in a breathtaking setting. The nearby river and stunning mountain views create a serene environment, perfect for nurturing our vines. This beautiful landscape is where we bring our annual vineyard efforts to life, producing wines that reflect the essence of Andalusia.

Artisan Winemaking Techniques

Andalusia's rich soil enhances the character of our grapes, allowing us to tailor our winemaking process to each varietal's unique needs. We utilize local yeasts during fermentation, which imparts a distinctive profile to our wines. Our approach emphasizes minimal intervention, allowing the natural qualities of the grapes to shine through. The traditional Andalusian farmhouse, with its wooden ceilings and thick walls, maintains a stable temperature in both the production and barrel aging areas, ensuring optimal development of our wines. We age our wines in a combination of French, American, and Central European oak barrels, as well as in ovoid tanks, which provide an alternative aging method. Our goal is to achieve complexity while highlighting the fruit's natural flavors.

The experience was spectacular, very educational and highly recommended. Alejandro was the best host and demonstrated impeccable knowledge of wine tasting during the tasting. It has nothing to do with other well-known tastings. As I said, we will be back because there was certainly still something to learn.

The visit and tasting were great, fun and with the Ronda charm. Wines with that quality and work that makes Tempranillo 2022 stand out. Gemma is an excellent guide who explains everything down to the smallest detail. We will be back. 😀

Small, high-quality winery, they pamper their vineyards to obtain good wines. Alejandro has told us the history of the Ronda vineyards very precisely and it has been super interesting, he has explained to us the process to obtain the wine and then the tasting has been great, we had a great time and we have also learned a lot.
