Located in the picturesque village of Piñel de Arriba, Valladolid, Arbas Winery is nestled in the heart of the Ribera del Duero region. This family-owned winery is dedicated to producing high-quality organic wines, with a modest annual output of around 25,000 bottles.
At Arbas, our primary goal is to create authentic wines that reflect the unique terroir of our vineyards. The average age of our vines ranges from 30 to 45 years, allowing us to harness the depth of flavor that comes from mature grapes.
Situated at an altitude of 860 meters, our vineyards benefit from a climate that is ideal for growing the finest Tinta Fina grapes, which we cultivate without the use of chemical treatments. This commitment to organic farming ensures that our wines are as natural as possible.
We pride ourselves on producing natural wines. During fermentation, we do not add any yeasts or bacteria, allowing the grapes to express their true character. Our winemaking practices are guided by biodynamic principles, which further enhance the quality of our wines.
Our philosophy is simple: to craft wine that captures the essence of our landscape. Each bottle of Arbas wine tells a story of the land, the vines, and the care that goes into every step of the winemaking process.

Jesús and Begonia Excellent hosts, very good wines and the food was not far behind. A very nice winery in the Rivera del Duero. If you go there it is advisable to take some time to visit.

We were in their wine cellars this morning. The service was incredible. The way they explain each process and each thing so that anyone can understand it. Very familiar and welcoming treatment, making you feel at home. We tasted their wines, each one more delicious than the last, explaining how to taste them and learn a little more about them, and the tapas that accompanied them were spectacular. We will definitely be back. We can only say THANK YOU.

During the wine route by bike from the campsite in Peñafiel, we ended up at the Bodega Arbas in the village of Piñel de Arriba. Here we were given a very hospitable welcome and were given a tour of the beautiful winery and a wine tasting with delicious snacks. All this for €20 per person, it is definitely worth it and we continued the bike tour with signed bottles.
