A Winery with Rich History

Bodegas Rivero is a family-owned winery, proudly recognized as the oldest in Sierra de Cádiz. Nestled between the stunning Natural Park of Grazalema and the Alcornocales Natural Park, our location is as remarkable as our wines.

Since 1864, we have been dedicated to producing high-quality wines using traditional methods. Our production is limited, ensuring that each bottle reflects our commitment to craftsmanship. We utilize century-old machinery and handcraft every step of the winemaking process, resulting in wines that are truly unique.

Visitors to Bodegas Rivero can expect to learn about our rich heritage and the art of winemaking in Andalusia. We invite wine lovers and travelers to experience the passion and dedication that goes into every bottle we produce.

I had a wine tour with my family. Luis took much care of us while explaining how to make white/rose/red wines. It was really impressive using all the historical machines to make handmade wines. The wines we tasted were also lovely with the delicious tapas. Recommend to visit!

Nice winery on the outskirts of Prado del Rey. Small and cozy. The owner, Luis, gave us several of his wines to try. We had a bottle of their Fabio Montano red right there. Advisable.

The flavour and intensity of your wines are impressive. I am no expert in the field, but I can clearly distinguish quality and good workmanship. You have won a customer for life!!
