Cantina di Andria, between Sea and Vineyards

Cantina di Andria, also known as Vignuolo, is located in the Murgia Region and the hilly area, in the territory of Andria. The winery sits under well-exposed sunlight and is close to the sea, what makes it a perfect place for vine cultivation. The winery, established in 1959, covers an area of 200 hectares, surrounded by lush vineyards and charming countryside. The Castel del Monte, an enchanting octagonal manor, sits over the rolling hills of the western Murgia near Vignuolo. Since 1996, this ancient manor is an official UNESCO World Heritage Site. The microclimate, surrounding the lush countryside, mitigated by the sea breeze, gives birth to high quality grapes at Cantina di Andria.

Winemaking with Respect to Nature

Working for more than 50 years, today, the Cantina di Andria Winery has 40 staff members in total. The current owners collected the properties of the Cooperative Cellar Cellar of the Fondiaria Reform ACLI. Later, they decided to convert it into a family winemaking business. Today, with full dedication and respect for nature, the owners produce many award-winning wines.

At Vignuolo, the owners grow a variety of vines to produce delicious organic wines. They cultivate elegant Nero di Troia, Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Bombino Nero. They also plant high-quality Bombino Bianco, Moscato Bianco, Greco Bianco, Sangiovese, and Trebbiano. Vignuolo is a certified producer of organic red, white, and rose wines.
