Caricato Factory Winery, a Lovely Puglian Winery Experience
Caricato Factory is a family-run winery located in San Pietro. The estate is in Salento, south of Puglia, in the Lecce region. Salento is the home of wine and olive oil in Italy, and the natural beauty of the surroundings is stunning. The location of the winery is excellent, between two seas, the lovely Adriatic and Ionian. There is a hilly landscape, and you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset from this point.
San Pietro is an area that is well-documented since medieval times and also has the beautiful Salento Church of 1655.
Caricato Factory, A Winery Passed from Father to Son
Francesco Caricato runs the winery, following his father, Pier Domenico, who established the family farm in 1961. He continued his father’s work and is responsible for everything in the winery, the vineyards, their website, packaging, and even participation in fairs and national events.
