Francesco Caricato currently manages the winery, continuing the legacy of his father, Pier Domenico, who founded the family farm in 1961. Francesco oversees all aspects of the winery, from vineyard management to website development, packaging, and participation in national events.

The vineyards span across Lequile, Lama, Nardo, Copertino, Leverano, and Monteroni, surrounded by fields of cereals, legumes, and olive trees. The winemaking team blends traditional methods with modern techniques to create high-quality wines. Committed to sustainable and organic practices, they focus on protecting the environment while cultivating their vines. The estate primarily produces wines from two key grape varieties: Malvasia and Negroamaro. In addition to wine, Caricato Factory also grows legumes and produces premium extra virgin olive oil.
