Located in the picturesque village of Villasimius, this family-run vineyard, led by father and son duo Gianluca and Mario, offers a genuine glimpse into their winemaking heritage. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and the sparkling turquoise waters of the coast, visitors can appreciate the beauty of nature while savoring exceptional wines.
Colline del Vento spans 5 hectares in the scenic countryside of Villasimius, characterized by shallow granite and sandy soils. The vineyard benefits from a favorable microclimate and northwest exposure, creating ideal conditions for grape cultivation. Rows of vines are spaced two meters apart, allowing the grapes to absorb the essence of the earth and sea. Every step of the winemaking process, from vinification to bottling, is executed with care, utilizing organic and sustainable practices.
The vineyard cultivates a selection of grapes, including Vermentino, Cannonau, and Cabernet. Only the finest grapes are chosen to produce their exclusive range of red, white, and fortified wines. Each bottle reflects the natural characteristics of the grapes, enhanced by the Mediterranean climate, resulting in wines with rich aromas and a distinctive taste. Write a reviewI attended a wine tour and tasting here with my friend. What a thoughtful young man running the winery! And the organic Cannonau Red is super delicious! Fresh, fruity, light... beautiful color in the glass. Bravo! We subsequently purchased this wine many times at the Conad in town.

We booked this offer quite spontaneously because we were looking for contact with a winemaker in the region. Gianluca informed us of everything important by email. We booked an evening with food and wine tasting in the vineyard. He picked us up personally at an agreed location in Villasimius because it was not that easy to find this place. Even the first contact was very pleasant. We drove over hill and dale and arrived at his refuge. We were a mixed and random group. After a short hike in the vineyard with the history to go with it, we were able to enjoy a wonderful white wine, with fine pecorino and fine salami. The peace of nature and the spicy air of Sardinia. It is a beautiful place where we were allowed to be. In the background, a suckling pig and mutton were braising over the fire made of vine wood. Then Gianluca brought an orange wine. We were particularly impressed by that. It is excellent and a must for all friends of this wine. The table was lovingly set. We sat in the vineyard under a huge tree with magical lighting. The first course was Sardinian pasta. Mmmhhh delicious. Then we were served the meat. Very tasty. There was also red wine, I stuck with orange...👌🏼🫶 For dessert, typical Sardinian specialties and liqueur. This was also very good. All in all, we would book this again at any time and would like to thank our hosts from the bottom of our hearts.

What an amazing experience my wife and I had at Colline del Vento! The team was so nice, the vineyard was cozy and the lunch and tour experience was incredible. The food was so good, abundant and the wine was spectacular and free-flowing as well! We met other great couples as well and the memories will last our lifetimes. We will absolutely return once we come back to Sardegna!
