The Domačija Ražman is located in the gifted Slovenian Istria region. The inn has a long family history and tradition and is present on the Istrian Wine Road among the gorgeous and relaxing surroundings of the coastal hinterland. In their cellar, they make handcrafted wines and olive oil. The inn is famous for Istrian regional dishes like pancetta, sheep cheese, gnocchi, prosciutto, fuzi, ravioli, noodles, ombola, beefsteak, homemade bread, olive oil, pizzas and goat. Seasonal dishes like chilli, asparagus, soup, truffles, game, etc. are also made here. Their winter garden can hold upto 130 guests and has multiple dining options for guests. They have a multi-purpose hall with video equipment and can host weddings, meetings, business conferences, anniversaries, etc. at their estate.
Terroir of Domačija Ražman
Their vineyards are present in around five hectares of land. The microclimate, soil, temperature and rainfall in the region are perfect for the cultivation of vines. The main grape varieties that grow in their estate are Istrian Refosco, Istrian Malvasia, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Yellow Muscat, Syrah, Maločrn and Negra Tenera. The best grapes are handpicked and used to make their red, white, rose, sparkling and dessert wines. All their wines and olive oils are present in their tavern where one can taste or buy their best products. They even have a family guesthouse that offers apartments and rooms for guests and includes all modern facilities, breakfast and boarding. The surrounding areas of their estate are beautiful, and one can go for biking or strolling through their surroundings for a pleasant time.
