Their commitment to quality winemaking is evident in every bottle, reflecting the rich heritage of the Loire Valley, a region celebrated for its winemaking traditions.

Commitment to Organic Winemaking

Since 2016, Domaine de l’Enchantoir has been certified organic, cultivating 17 hectares of vineyards with Chenin, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc grapes. The winery combines traditional techniques with modern practices to ensure that each wine is crafted with care while adhering to organic viticulture principles.

Situated in a region with a winemaking history dating back to the 16th century, the vineyards of Domaine de l’Enchantoir benefit from rich clay-limestone and tufa soils. A lovely winery which offers delightful wine of Loire Valley. Enjoyed a lot the wine tasting and cellar + vineyard visit. One can expect friendly reception and great wine to go there. The winemaker couple is local but speaks very good English, even German & Spanish, so very foreigner friendly.

A wonderful organic winery We spent a fabulous long weekend in this beautiful winery. We stayed in their “gîte” a beautiful spacious apartment recently renovated with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lovely views over the court yard. The wonderful couple Jean Michel and Fabienne Brunet are very nice and so passionate about their work. We learned so much from Jean Michel. after a lovely walk in the vineyards we did the wine tasting and again learned so much about wines. They have some amazing organic wines. and they were also very helpful in recommending other visits in the region. The nearby village “Puy Notre Dame ” is a charming village with a beautiful church “Collegial “ from the 12th century a must to visit and a really good restaurant there too. I highly recommend this beautiful winery for all the wine lovers. We were happy to buy some of their wines.
